There are many different ways cosmetic dentistry can be approached. Veneers are a very popular and a great way to restore spaces, fractures, chips, and rotated or misaligned teeth. Veneers can also help with misshaped or discoloured teeth, and can assist with the alteration of tooth position, shape, size and colour.

Though the procedure is similar to that of crowning a tooth, it requires little tooth reduction and is quite a conservative technique.

Crowns are used when veneers are not possible. This can occur due to a tooth fracture, a large restoration, previous root canal therapy or extensive damage due to decay.

Both crown and veneer procedures will require two appointments and both deliver the same result – a more confident patient with the ability to smile without a worry.
